I was drawn to Super 8 because it helped me reconnect with the moment itself.

With digital photo and video, it’s easy to get stuck chasing the perfect frame and constantly checking playback. You end up experiencing everything through a lens instead of being fully present. Super 8 feels different to me. You press the button, take in what’s in front of you, and trust it. You get a few seconds, you capture them, and then you move on, satisfied with those moments.

There’s no room for perfection, and that’s what makes it special. It lets me stay present, let go, and appreciate moments as they are.
